Each shot contains cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil of premium quality, rich in polyphenols and sourced from the “Blue Zone” of Sardinia, a region known for its exceptionally long and healthy lifestyle.
Challenge
Olivious Olive Shots started as an innovative product: a daily shot of extra virgin olive oil from Sardinia, patented and aimed at health benefits such as improving cholesterol balance, supporting the immune system, and combating inflammatory complaints. Many potential customers were aware of the science around olive oil and health but found the idea of “an olive oil shot” strange or cumbersome. Taste, texture, bitter aftertaste, and the notion that “drinking oil” would be difficult were concerns.
The goal is not only for people to try the product once but for it to become part of their daily routine, where repeat purchases are crucial. Being encouraged to buy regularly was a challenge.
